Earl Sweatshirt, real name Thebe Neruda Kgositsile, has been forced by his mother to attend the Coral Reef Academy in Samoa, a "residential school helping troubled youth...".
This February 24th is his 18th birthday. He will in the eyes of the United States government be an adult, responsible of his own life and in charge of his decisions. For him to stay at this academy one day longer as an adult, would be a disgrace.
Thebe is a successful rapper, with over 20 million views on YouTube for his various videos, a handful of loose songs and one full length album (spanning just over 25 minutes). People all around the world recognize him as more than talented; he is a prodigy.
The world wants to see Thebe a free man and I hope the U.S. government realizes this and makes it happen.
