bring to the forefront the undesirable consequences vast sums of money play in elections and its influence in Congress

Created by G.L. on January 03, 2012

It is understood by many that one of the root causes of dysfunction in American politics today is the presence of obscene amounts of money thrown around by lobbyists and super pacs to influence policy outcomes, elections, and the general political discourse of the day.

In order to begin the process of correcting this wayward and debilitating trend we must begin a national discussion that attempts to identify the problem and search for solutions.

President Obama, using his unparalleled ability to reach the ears of the public, should call on citizens to demand action through the convening of an Article V Convention to bypass a Congress handcuffed in its ability to do anything about this issue.
