Bring foreign investments back to America by revitalizing the Gold Standard.

Bring America back to a precious metals backed currency. The entire reason the USD was used to trade oil throughout the world was due to the gold standard. After President Nixon removed the standard in 1971, the United States began losing its foothold on the world stage as a economical powerhouse. Fast-forward to present day where inflation is rampant and we are importing trillions of dollars of debt from foreign investments (China), coupled with a staggering unemployment rate, change is absolutely needed! There needs to be a serious discussion on Capitol Hill about bringing the United States back to the Gold Standard!
