Politicians should make no more then 60,000.00 a year, and must not be exempt from any law that civilians must abide .
There are families currently trying to survive on low wages in a stagnant economy while at the same time paying out taxes to help support the nation. In the meantime, politicians are making well into six figures, exempting themselves from laws and receiving perks from the government and lobbyist.
Politicians should be in government because they want to make a difference, not because they want overpaid salaries, and ridiculous perks.
