Bring growth back to cutting edge manufacturing in the United States of America

Created by J.P. on February 13, 2013

Obama spoke of it in the SOTU address last night, I am on a personal quest to help bring growth back to cutting edge manufacturing in the United States of America. It will be MEMS and NEMS that represent the tipping point but it will be high levels of automation assisted by new equipment, robotics, that will replace low wage unskilled line workers that drew much of our goods manufacturing off shore to begin with. Within 12-24 months there will be few company's that can not manufacture in the USA and compete globally if the proper preparations are made to attract them back, regulatory and education issues need addressing, GAPs that represent roadblocks need identified, and incentive programs will need planning. The USA is the big target and the states need to cooperate to make this a WIN
