Vallejo, California, and it's former naval Shipyard, Mare Island, California have had a long and rich history. Vallejo has suffered a lot ever since the naval base shut down. However, there is hope. President Obama, when I heard your recent State of the Union Address, the part that hit home is with me was that you are starting to bring high tech companies to areas of need. I live in Vallejo. I see the potential my city has. I would like you, President Obama, to consider Vallejo as one of the 6 places, for high tech staffing, or if not these one of these 6 this year, then one of many in the next year. Vallejo has great potential as it can easily be made a port city as it lies on the banks of San Pablo Bay, and our town needs a renaissance.
