It is time to end our longest war. We demand an immediate end to the War in Afghanistan. Send our troops home now. We also demand a change in how our sons and daughters are treated upon their return to home base or civilian life. We demand the same extensive training (or un-training) as they received in Boot Camp. We want troops to be extensively evaluated and treated for PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury, and alcohol/drug abuse. We want our troops to be retrained for peacetime jobs. We want them to be effectively prepared for re-entering our society. We demand that the VA Hospital staff and doctors listen to and treat every troop with honor and respect. We demand that all troops receive their full benefits as promised. We demand that troops receive an honorable welcome home.
