Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, a soldier for the US Army, went missing on June 30, 2009 while on a routine deployment. He was seen on a Taliban video on July 18, 2009 as proof of his capture, and again on January 15th, 2014. He was then, and still is, considered a POW.
After a failed attempt at a trade--Sgt Bergdahl for some Taliban prisoners--the Bergdahl family has decided to speak out for their son. It's up to everyone to remind the military, the President, and Congress that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is an American citizen and should be returned to American soil.
He may be a POW, but he is never forgotten.
