The Hubble Space Telescope, named after astronomer Edwin Hubble, has provided us with knowledge about the universe for a good twenty-five years and counting.
Sadly, all missions must come to an end someday, and Hubble's is estimated to end in a burst of gas through the Earth's atmosphere around 2030.
For such a machine, which has provided us with knowledge about the very origin and age of the universe, it seems a cruel fate not to bring it back home, to be displayed for future generations.
The HST has been an icon of science for almost thirty years, and it should continue to be one.
Please, bring Hubble home, so that it can remain a champion of science and education.
