The US job market has been sabotaged by the export of our manufacturing jobs. Those were a lot of good US jobs! Now there's too many workers, not enough jobs, the employers all act like slave drivers because they know we're expendable.
Easy Fix! First we need US auditors in every foreign factory that makes US products, or precursors to those products. The company buying those services (Apple, for instance) should pay those auditors. Then we rigorously enforce every minimum standard of employment within that factory as if it were America. Same minimum wage, same minimum work conditions.
All the jobs will come back overnight. It will cost less to keep the business in America. And we get our Right to Pursue happiness back, since everything we buy will no longer be made by slaves.
