Bring Jobs Back to America by Supporting Skilled Labor and Apprenticeship Programs in High Schools and Technical Schools

Created by O.Y. on April 10, 2013

Our economy is on the decline and manufacturing has all but left American soil. This is due in large part to the loss of technical, mechanical and craftsman skills that are no longer taught in schools.

Institute apprenticeship programs, much like those in Germany, to encourage Americans to learn the skills necessary to produce high quality goods and perform skilled trade occupations.

As a country, we used to take pride in our manufacturing and labor sectors. These were the jobs that built America and contributed to a strong middle class. Help Americans relearn these lost skills and trades.

We need:
Trade and technical schools
Apprenticeship programs that start in early high school
Loans and grants for trade school students
Easy access to these programs.
Encouragement to enter these jobs
