A few months ago, a 16-year-old girl was drugged, raped, and peed on, while her rapists got less imprisonment time than if they'd illegally downloaded a movie. The media babied them, saying things like, "They're only teenagers!" and "She's ruined their lives!" even though they were the ones who had RAPED her.
More recently, two 18-year-olds sexually harassed two 13-year-old girls. The two men are honored for this assault, the girls viewed as weak, inhuman sluts. What does the government do about this? Absolutely nothing.
I demand of the Obama Administration much firmer laws against rape. Longer jail sentences for rapists, to start. Teaching middle school students about the policy of consent in sex ed. Free medical and mental help for rape victims. Rape needs to be stopped.
