Diana Rubens and Kimberly Graves abused their positions within the Dept. of Veterans Affairs and must be punished for their actions. "Demoting" them is not sufficient justice given the severity of their actions.
The following are acts that they committed that deserve further attention and prosecution.
1) They are not being charged for criminal wrongdoing, even though evidence states they committed fraud.
2) They embezzled more than $400,000 in taxpayer funds for relocation that currently is not expected to be paid back.
3) They were demoted to positions instead of fired for their actions.
4) They were allowed to keep their $181,497 and $173,949 salaries even after being demoted.
5) They both unlawfully forced subordinates to resign from positions in order to work their scam.
