For 10 months, we've left Kenneth Bae in a North Korean prison. As far as we are aware, Kenneth Bae is now the longest-held American prisoner in North Korea. This is the longest we've ever let North Korea hold one of our own hostage, essentially.
The 45-year-old father of three was detained in the reclusive, repressive nation last year and sentenced to 15 years hard labor in May for unspecified “crimes aimed to topple” the North Korean government.
You can find out more about Kenneth's situation with a simple Google search or by reading this Medium post: http://gdctz.in/kb
We ask that the Obama administration do everything that they can to bring Kenneth home.
