Server wages languishing at 2.13 per hour.
Many servers working in restaurants do NOT "make it up in tips" since many customers do not tip.
We should not allow this continuation of silent tolerance.
Restaurant workers have the same right to basic wages as everyone else. This should not be up to the whim of a few customers.
Please! do not confuse this with high-traffic restaurants with big tippers!! In many areas of the country low traffic restaurants serve low/middle class customers with small budgets.
Let's change to decent working wages built right into the tab.
And if you are not convinced, ask 10 of your friends if they know the hourly wage of a server...
