PBS removed Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood from its daily schedule. We urge PBS to put the program back on the air at a reasonable daily hour.In today’s challenging times, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood provides a time for children to learn and feel special. It fills a vital need in today’s culture. Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood remains such a worthwhile program and it continues to influence childrens’ lives today. Fred Rogers' calming, comforting ways remain needed.
It is more important than ever for children to feel safe and loved. Today, many children live in broken homes and they face challenges that are hard for even adults to understand. They need a place where they can feel special and safe. Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood provides both. Let’s urge PBS to bring it back to daily syndication.
