Bring our K9 Heroes Home - Direct the Dept of Defense to bring all retired Military Working Dogs back to US soil.

Created by F.B. on September 07, 2014

Our military dogs provide a valuable service to their country and deserve the best possible treatment. However when a dog has reached the end of his or her service usefulness; too shell shocked, too old, too injured and this happens while the animal is stationed overseas the dog is declared equipment that can be left behind and is not entitled to military transportation home. The dogs are effectively abandoned overseas.

The United States War Dog Association, the American Humane Association and K9s of the War on Terror organizations work hard to return these dogs to the United States and provide a home for them at no taxpayer expense. However their job would be made far easier if the DOD would do the right thing and return these animals to the US on military transport.
