We the People have a right to be suspicious of our own government involvement 14 years later.
The official investigation failed to comply to NIST investigation standards for fire and explosion investigations. Debris was removed from the site before the investigation was underway. Certain evidence was cherry picked to fit the final story. There have been reports that 6 out of 10 commissioners on the 9/11 Commission disagree with the final report.
The US government have previously fabricated plans for false flag attacks. One of these plans was Operation Northwood. The operation involved attacks primarily in Florida by hired men, who were to act as militant Cubanos to generate support for a war with Cuba. The plan included the act of hijacking passenger planes and using them as weapons.
