Unfortunately, Turkey in recent years has been mostly known for its corruption scandals, linkages with ISIS, pressures on media and freedom of expression and rights of minorities. Today there is an ongoing genocide against the Kurdish people. Currently, Erdogan has another plan over Kurdish origin citizens of the country in his initiatives to have a new Constitution. His plan is to militarize the whole Southeastern region of Turkey and securitize the Kurdish issue, just to make people believe that current constitution is very weak in controlling Kurdish insurgency.
