Mexico is a very wealthy country. Why aren't we using whatever influence we have with the Mexican government, to pressure them into taking care of their own people.
Our society and environment are suffering badly from the effects of overpopulation. Our hospitals and Social Services are overrun with Illegals. Our citizens who are out of work, blame them. We're outraged when they take to our streets demanding their "rights", and made to feel guilty that they're dying in our deserts in Border crossing attempts.
Must we only throw our weight around when oil is the goal? Isn't it logical that Mexico should take care of it's own? Forget the double, (with ditches..), electrified, armed-guarded, helicopter-watched fence!!
