The Filibuster is a standing tradition for the Senate, enumerated in the Constitution itself, allowing a single Senator the right to obstruct legislation, he or she deems bad for America, or a particular constituency. But Americans have the right to know who is either courageously standing up for our rights or obstructing needed legislation.
We ask, that a sortable, searchable database be added to the government websites, that detail the name of the Senator who invoked filibuster, the title of the bill, a brief description thereof, and a link to the bill itself, so that the public can be made aware of the Senator in question and proceed to reward or punish that person as informed voters during the next election, including some past historical data to ensure proper perspective.
