Bring those nations living on the front-lines of climate change to the forefront of national environmental discussions.

Created by M.R. on March 03, 2015

Kiribati, Tuvalu, Marshall Islands, Tokelau, and the Maldives are all nations disappearing today due to global environmental changes. They are our canaries in the climate change coal mine. Ban Ki-moon, Pope Francis, and President Obama have all stated the importance of bringing their voices to the forefront of climate change conversations, yet most of the world remains clueless as to their existence. Polar bears have had more attention than the hundreds of thousands who are losing their homes, lives and countries now. They have no where to go, and our world is doing very little to help. We must do more than argue over climate change, change light bulbs, and drive less for our communal future. We must talk about the human faces of climate change and lead in actions now, for them and us
