We demand that President Obama bring all the troops home. Not only those in Iraq and Afghanistan, but also the more than 500,000 troops we have in over 30 different countries. We are not an empire. Cut defense spending and use the savings to not only strengthen the existing social safety nets (Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security) but to add to them.
