Bring the Voting Booth into the Digital Age (#VOTEAPP)

Let's face it: The voter turnout for U.S. State and National elections is abysmal. The amount of eligible voters that actually vote was less than 50% for the last Midterm elections. While many voters simply cannot find the time to get into the polling booths, many others just don't have the motivation to get off the couch to go practice their right to vote for their leaders. Whatever the reason may be for the poor voter turnout, the fact remains that it is still just a hassle for over half of Americans to go cast a ballot. We the people would like to petition the administration to usher our ballots into the digital age. Give us a safe way to cast our votes from the convenience of our own laptops. Give us an app. Our phones never leave our hands anyway. #VOTEAPP
