It is well known the incredible failings of both the government and the media as to the coverage of the Vietnam War and the incerdible animosity it generated towrd our men and women serving in the armed forces during that time. After the war our veterans faced not only the continued animosity by a severly misinformed public but they had to and continue to suffer from the long term physical effects and psychologicla residues of their honorable service. In light of these experiences that have left scars that no amount of money could ever fix, the public I feel needs to hear a direct and heartfelt apology. To acknowledge the heroism, the sacrifice of our men and women who paid the ultimate price as well as those who were left behind to fight on and then face another fight at home!
