Broadcasting law appeal

Hi Sir, i work for a TV broadcasting company which broadcasts channel from India. my job is to add local content and ads, now the company is going to stop local production and the channel from India will go direct. and i am forced to loose my job but there is a law in Canada that any Tv channel must ad atleast 15% of local programming and if there is such law like that in the USA, there are approximately 1000 international working in US, most of them just come from outside and take money from carrier like Dish, Time warner, verizon, if there is such law then every channel brodcasted in the US from outside must hire atleast 8-10 people locally and my , alongside cow workers's jobs will also be saved. please help me feed my family. i don't want to go unemployed.Thank You.
