There is a huge problem of traffic in Bay Area. The most affected highways due to traffic in Bay Area are 880, 101 and 237. I am writing this petition as some of the traffic congestion can be improved if there is bridge connecting Fremont to Sunnyvale/Santa Clara. Following are the scenarios where this bridge will help:
1. Lot of population in Fremont/Newark/Union City transit to Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Mountain View which causes a huge traffic jam on 880 S and 237 W. If this new bridge is built, people from Fremont/Newark/Union City can directly access this bridge to go to Santa Clara/ Sunnyvale. This will reduce lot of traffic congestion on both 880 S and 237 W.
