Let's create jobs in the US, strengthen our infrastructure, and stimulate the economy.
1. A bullet train along the Eastern seaboard will create countless jobs: from the people that design and build it, to those who run and maintain it.
2. Stopping in key locations along coast, this train will generate revenue to many cities and ports. Adding tourism, and linking businesses like never before.
3. Airfare costs are higher then ever because there are no other choices. Once completed, trains can be added from Washington to California, and everywhere in the middle.
Existing tracks may be used when appropriate, or land owners paid fair value when new tracks are laid.
