The Hyperloop is a transformative idea that should get immediate funding to build a prototype. If the design proves sound, this cost-effective approach to next-gen transportation could be deployed throughout the US. This would create a large number of jobs, reduce pollution and our reliance on foreign oil, and could have a bigger impact than the interstate highway system did.
