The White House needs to put all of its might behind building a fleet of blimps. All of our current infrastructure is based on the ground and it is particularly vulnurable to Earthquakes. Blimps can provide a great contingency source of transportation and can also be used to fight forest fires.
A full fleet of blimps would cost a paltry 80 Billion or in other terms a mere 1/10th of a Wall Street Bailout.
Blimps will also restore faith in government.
