build free Colleges for the homeless because they can create a better future for themselves and others.

Created by L.B. on March 17, 2014

We petition the Obama administration to build free Colleges for the homeless because they can create a better future for themselves and others. College education makes it easier to get a job. Business owners tend to look for experience in the people they hire to work for them. A college education will have a huge benefit for people who can’t afford a college education. According to the LA Times' money blog, “On average, a doctoral degree-holder will earn $3.3 million over a lifetime, compared to $2.3 million for a college graduate and $1.3 million for those with a high school diploma” (Hsu). Educating these people can support innovation for the future. Clearly, the government should provide colleges for people who can’t afford because it benefits everyone.
