I think that it would be a huge breakthrough in the scientific community if the construction of lightsabers was studied and the research can be used to educate kids in a new field of science and possibly open up new job opportunities. Also it could benefit the economy because America will be the only country to have these weapons so other country's' will want to purchase in which case we can monopolize the weapon industry.
