F-22's are the best jets we have. They fly circles around the Joint Strike Fighter (F-35). It only makes since to reinstate the F-22 program to insure air superiority around the world (it is the best fighter the world has EVER seen).
It is ridiculous that we only have 100 or so of these great aircraft, even though we could put these in full production tomorrow, this could be a very valuable weapon system.
