Build or purchase a new home for each returning veteran that has served in combat.

Today many veterans of war come home to financial problems, homelessness and even suicide. It is time that we give back to them. Veterans who have served a tour of duty in an active war zone should not have to worry about housing. They should have a house built or purchased for them, at no cost to them, as a sentiment of gratitude and respect. If we can afford to pay senators and presidents hundreds of thousands of dollars in lifetime salaries for sitting behind a desk then we have no excuse for not assisting our heroes.
