Build pipeline from the North East to the Southwest, dump extra snow in the pipeline and solve the drought problem.

There is massive drought in the southwest which will only get worse due to climate change. In the northeast there is an abundance of snow that will only get worse due to climate change. Why not build a pipeline from the northeast to Lake Meade, dump the extra snow (and water from hurricanes) into the pipeline and solve both problems at once.
