Build protection for the U.S. Power grid

I've heard that certain places have wanted America to go down. Some say they will do an EMP and Americans now basically rely on technology and energy. Without it, most of us will die. We need to build protection for the now vulnerable US Power Grid.
Hospitals will become death homes. Houses will become freezers and baking ovens. And millions will die in the first week! All your food will spoil, your phones will be dirt, and you can die for various reasons, and no one can help you. We need to protect the country we love!
