Since landfills aren't storage units many usable, recyclable, new, even historical items ARE being ruined DAILY by persons and even charities trashing items "no place to store."
Many countries want to buy art from their countries that I have, personally, seen Charity Thrift Stores trashing. I was told surplus can be bought for two cents a pound. That means the100 books, many autographed, that I saw trashed could be bought for $2.
Residential, Recycle Centers would not only train persons and pay persons in recognizing historical items and antiques and in recycling (including by selling). Nostalgia is ALWAYS in so a World's Fair Mall would be a tourist attraction too. Teens seeing me recycling have thanked me for caring & shook my hand. Put your me in WE recycling for a better today!
