We, as a nation, are falling behind. We know that excellence in the fields of Science, Math and Engineering is needed. But our culture is still encouraging kids to reach for the wrong set of stars.
We can change that.
The Enterprise is a symbol, not just of space, but of prosperity and scientific achievement. It's what we imagined when the future seemed bright, and it gave us hope for ourselves and our children.
This dream won't "just" create jobs for those that build and fly it. It will create industry through the invention of tech we have yet to imagine. It will inspire a whole new generation of scientists, engineers and Captains.
Throughout history mans leaps forward have always been bold steps. So let's go forward, to where no man has gone before.
