Edward Snowden is an American hero. He peacefully took great risk of his own life to expose the loss of American liberty. We are forever changed by this act. People now demand more answers from their politicians, they demand transparency, they demand an open forum. The government in accountable to the people. In remembrance to these things and in remembrance to a great man like Edward Snowden, they should be immortalized within the seat of power of America. We need to have a memorial statue to Edward Snowden in DC. A solemn reminder that a free people must risk much to maintain said freedom.
