We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Build A Statue of Harambe on Capitol Hill

Created by V.G. on September 02, 2016

On 5/28/2016, a kind, loving, 17 year old Western gorilla was tragically gunned down at the Cincinnati Zoo. Harambe was a good gorilla, the kind that Tarzan would have been friends with. After his untimely and unfortunate death, Harambe has become a beacon of hope and light throughout the world.

Congress has been in terrible gridlock for years and this is an issue that everybody, regardless of political affiliation can get behind. In a time as tumultuous as the 2016 Presidential election, erecting a statue of Harambe on Capitol Hill would be a symbol of the unity of the American people.

Harambe is an American icon on par with individuals such as Abraham Lincoln, Johnny Appleseed and the Michelin Man.

May he rest in peace.
