We the people of the United States of America think it is time to erect a monument that symbolizes liberty and freedom on the US/Mexican border. Fences and security check points should not be the only thing immigrants and other Americans should have to see as they cross back and fourth between the border while conducting day-to-day business. For too long the southern border has been politicized, and it is time to place some non-militant symbolism at the border for people all around the world to see.
