Building a wall along the US Mexico border will accomplish many things. Most of all creating jobs for many Americans who are looking for work. This will also cut down on the amount of illegal immigrants, drugs, and firearms being brought into the country. Once the wall construction is complete, utilize the national guard to protect this border. This would allow very realistic training, being done on our own US soil and would stop illegal traffic.
