What we would essentially do is build a huge wall spanning the US Mex border. This wall would be big enough and sturdy enough so that no one could climb over it or push it over (like they can with fences). There would be gates spaced out every hundred or so miles that immigration on the ground would go through. This not only creates temporary jobs like the hoover dam did but also solves the immigration problem on the southern border. Maintenance of the wall will also create jobs.
