America may have lost its critical manufacturing and engineering edge. We presently import 80 percent of our pharmaceuticals either as basic ingredients or in total. Critical life saving drugs, especially “low profit” generics, are in short supply and price gouging is now rampant. Build and or subsidize life-saving generic drug manufacturing here in America. The threat of our government moving forward here will put big pharma on notice that this is a critical issue.
