Burma must allow unfettered access for humanitarian relief, human rights, and equal access to citizenship for Rohingya

Created by M.M. on June 12, 2015

We are appalled by the systematic repression and ongoing genocide of the Rohingya people in Myanmar(Burma). Tens of thousands have already fled Myanmar and over 100,000 are living in subhuman conditions in concentration camps, with no international media and human rights organizations allowed access by the Myanmar government.

Mr. President you said -Rohingya hold within themselves the same dignity as you and I. We urge you therefore to take action to stop genocide of Rohingya in Myanmar, and press Government to address the humanitarian crisis by giving unfettered access for humanitarian relief, opening a UN Office of for Human Rights, providing accountability through an independent international investigation into serious human rights abuses, and giving equal access to citizenship.
