I served this Nation, in the US Army, for 23 years. I have always been angry at those who burn our Flag. But, it is happening more so during this election period and I have speak out against this, because I am so disgusted at this action.
How can our leaders stand by and let this happen? Yea, yea, I know about the 1st Amendment rights and so on. But these people have no respect for others, property; they hid their faces, damage property, and hurt people and fly other nation’s flag. Just because they are mad at a particular candidate running for President? Where is the justification in that type of behavior? Why do we have to see this? Why must we see and tolerate this type of cowardly act?
I speak for many veterans and we are outraged. As well as those who serve this Nation.
