We Americans value our Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press very highly. And yet Kim Jong Un of North Korea is dictating to us what we can and cannot watch in our own country. This deserves retaliatory action, but there are few non-military means of retaliation that would carry any impact.
I propose that we Americans target our retaliation squarely upon that raw nerve that we have discovered. I propose that the US Government acquire (buy) rights to "The Interview" and provide it to the American People (and the TV networks and outside world) as a public domain Christmas gift for all to upload, download, broadcast, share, and enjoy.
My hope is that "The Interview" will become a Christmas classic that we will all enjoy for decades to come.
