For years, the anthropology department at UC Berkeley has lacked some basic amenities that directly impact the capacity of graduate students to conduct academic activities. Among these is the lack of a convenient printing facility available to graduate students. Free or subsidized printing significantly enriches the intellectual life of graduate students and the department. Also, other departments get it.
