Bypass state and federal laws as to the medical and personal use of cannabis in the state of Florida, making it lawful.

Created by L.G. on February 26, 2013

Dear Mr. President,
I am a very concerned life-long citizen of the state of FL. I had to watch my beloved father die a slow death last year (cancer and then finally cerebral hemorrhaging). Due to his "treatments" for the cancer, he would not eat and at his death, just before his 76th birthday, he looked 90. My father served 4 years in the USAF and was a wonderful father to his 2 daughters. If "only" he'd had the choice of medical mj to use! As for personal use, what is the difference in using a little mj than in having a few beers? Also, tobacco products are easily bought and used (I have started/stopped two times in my life...I know how hard it is to quit). Cannabis has none of the addictive properties. Other states are going ahead and allowing it. FL is lagging behind. Help!
