Cable TV Provider and Government Reform.

Created by A.D. on March 16, 2013

Change how local governments have a death grip hold by limiting only 1 cable provider per geographic area and allow all service providers access to all areas.

This is monopoly benefits a limited few getting a cut from these license fees & isn't benefiting the paying public as a whole.

The cable companies & local governments reasoning is flawed for limiting 1 service provider per area, stating that reaching each household with "their own direct cable connection" is a necessity and wiring space is limited on poles, post and underground pathways.

This should not be an issue if all homes are hardwired properly and by using a updated central switching station/hub would allow multiple service providers to use the same cables!

Their excuse is outdated, selfish and irresponsible!
